Faithfulness

I never thought of singing in the choir as part of the ministry of a church before I joined the Bethesda choir. At Bethesda the choir director is passionate about music but also about God. On Sunday mornings after we practice the song of the day in the sanctuary he prays that God will be glorified in our voices and He would be revealed in our song. Whoa! We are not just making pretty music to fill a spot on the bulletin. God can be made know to the congregation in the lifting up of our voices! This may seem like common sense but it has been a revelation for me.
